It seems like everyone is always super positive and happy during the holidays, almost to the point where I start to doubt the sincerity. But maybe I'm just being a grouch. And along those lines, I've decided to make a list of things I'm grateful for, along with a list of things that I am not thankful for.

Family - Don't see them much but its kinda like unicorns - you don't see them but you know they're out there somewhere!

Friends - That's you guys.. the ones who understand that friendship is a two way street and a person can only drive one car at a time. The ones whose shoulders I've cried on, ears I've talked off, laughed with, partied with, and shared good memories with.

My dog - She never lets me down.

Home - I like having an expensive place to store my stuff.

Health - The absence of devastating illnesses and STDs is always something to be happy about!

My car - My car gets me places. And it keeps me from getting lost.. usually.

My good looks - Ya know. Just sayin.

Good People - Everyone other than Bad People. See list below.

JGL, GSP, Lee Pace, and all the other good lookin fellas in the world that I will probably never meet - does this really need any further explanation?

Bad People - Selfish, self-absorbed, mean people. The ones who make you want to lose faith in things like love and humanity. The ones who start wars. The liars, the cheaters, the fakes, the murderers, the know-it-alls. The ones who use you and leave you. The ones who break your heart. YOU ALL SUCK.

Bills - What do you mean I can't spend all my money on fun things like shopping..? :(

Bad Boyfriends - This is really a sub-category of bad people, but deserves its own line. The only good thing about bad boyfriends is that they eventually become bad ex-boyfriends.

Traffic - Usually caused by rubbernecking and talking on the phone while driving. Traffic is something that could be completely eradicated, if we just collected all the bad drivers in the world and shipped them off to the moon.

Hoes - Girls, you all know what I'm talking about. The ones who don't have respect for themselves or any other females. That chick who calls and texts your boo at 1AM? Yeah, that one. The breezy decked out in a skin-tight, spandex Forever 21 dress in 40 degree weather? Yepp. The one who comments on every single one of your man's FB updates? Her too. Any scandalous chick shameless enough to contribute to another girl's misfortune by creeping around with a taken man... NO THANKS for you, trick. And as for the guys, refer to "Bad People" and "Bad Boyfriends" above.

There's no good without the bad. Guess the whole point of today is to focus on the good instead, so I'm gonna go do that now and get stuffed with some yummy food and drinks. Happy Thanksgiving to all of you!
